Rick Griffin is the salon proprietor. He received his early training and started work in the Ft. Lauderdale Florida area working on Las Olas Boulevard and the Boca Raton Hotel and SPA.
Rick has operated six salons in seacoast area including Hampton, Seabrook, Portsmouth, and Kennebunkport Maine.
He has trained at Vidal Sassoon Santa Monica, California, Molten Brown Academy London, England and John Delaria Boston as well as the SOHO Academy in New York City.
This training allows Rick to offer his clients the highest standards of hair design. Most recently Rick and Masa attended the International Beauty Expo in New York City March 2016.
Rick is a past member of NH State Board of Cosmetology and currently Chairman of the Hampton Board of Selectman an elected position.
Masa was born and raised in Japan, after he graduated from college in Tokyo he continued education in USA. He attended college in NH obtained degrees in AS and BS degrees. After attending Portsmouth beauty school Masa joined Eccentric Hair.
While he is working as a nail technician he realized power of healing for touch, he entered New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Art in Hudson NH and graduated in 2003.
He customizes massage after consulting with clients then analyzing posture, tightness of muscle then proceeds with the massage. He has learned Swedish, Neuromuscular Technique, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Circulatory massage, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology, and more to come with further education. The state requires therapists twelve continueing education hours every other year, Masa exceeds this requirement.
Rick and Masa would like to welcome Jo to our team. She was born in California raised in Korea and Japan. She started her cosmetology education in Japan. After studying international relations at the University of Maryland she decided to focus on her hairdressing skills.
Along with her husband and son she resides in the seacoast area.
Excellent 45 minute pedicure by Masa, who is very precise, friendly and knowledgeable. Well-organized and pleasant salon. Next time I'd go for the 90 minute pedicure -- $60, so just $10 more than the 45 minute appointment.
